Since 1998, the Foundation has held annual fall golf tournaments and annual Spring Galas. With monies raised through these events, the Foundation has been able to donate to the following:

Breast Cancer Patient Support Programs at Brigham and Women's Hospital and UMass Memorial Medical Center - a substantial commitment has been made to these programs which are dedicated to assisting women with breast cancer who have insufficient income and/or inadequate health insurance coverage by providing grants to support services, needs during treatments, prescriptions and follow-up therapy. These support programs are provided to breast cancer patients across Massachusetts regardless of treatment facilities.

Patient and Family Education Resource Room at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute - to purchase copies of Cancer in the Family to be given to women who are parents and have breast cancer.
Windows of Hope at the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center which is dedicated to serving the special needs of oncology patients by offering wigs, special clothing, scarves, audio and video tapes and other items for individuals with cancer.
The Longwood Area sponsored National Cancer Survisors' Day in June that brings educational seminars to many cancer survivors in the Boston area.
The Pink Rose Foundation for post-secondary scholarships to children who lost a parent to breast cancer.
Library materials related to breast cancer awareness and education. These include, but are not limited to, books and audiovisual materials specifically donated to:

  • Morse Institute Library- Natick, MA
  • Waltham Public Library- Waltham, MA
  • Holliston Public Library - Holliston, MA
  • Newton Free Library - Newton, MA
  • Wellesley Free Library - Wellesley, MA
  • Mansfield Free Public Library - Mansfield, MA
TJX Family Memorial Trust Fund

It is the purpose of the Pink Ribbon Foundation to continue donations of this type and to expand its contributions to support programs in both the community and institutions bringing the appropriate awareness, education and support to people affected by breast cancer.
